The 2025 LG Guggenheim Award winner, Ayoung Kim, is known for her fantastical, tech-forward worlds. Kim blends AI, motion graphics, live action, and performance into immersive storytelling. Drawing from documentary research, Webtoon aesthetics, and ancient cosmologies, she builds immersive narratives that explore identity, technology, and the future. This artist profile video was filmed by Derek Siyarngnork on location in NYC in May, 2025 and represents Davia’s first initiative for the Guggenheim.
